I decided to write this article out of my normal travel category because I wanted to give advice to all the ones trying to get something out of a web-page.

We guys really have a problem. You know which one is it? That thousands of persons all around the world are promoting stupid things that are not useful for anybody, lying to people in order to make them buy, hiding total costs, using very aggressive marketing strategies and in the end making the businesses online struggle because of them.

To find a real person behind the web-page is something very difficult. To find somebody that really cares about the audience who is speaking to is something even more strange.

You can write thousands of times that you will provide support for whatever your are promoting but nobody will believe you. You can say thousands of times that no costs at all are involved, but nobody believes you. How they could? They are used to always be charged more!

All the fake promises that are done in the Internet leave the rest of us out of the game, as credibility is something that we can’t win even trying very hard. The only way we have to success is to keep pushing and forget about all the people that simply don’t take what is obvious because they don’t rely in anything.

I’m gonna put an example from my area of expertise.

Recently I found a great opportunity for anybody living in the US, Canada or Europe in a way that you could use the money you spend in your flights in order to get free accommodation. The results were that you could for example spend 14 nights in a 4-stars hotel in Deluxe quality anywhere in the world for not more than $320 dollars, given the same price for the flights. Of course, this 320 amount is only the taxes and redemption fee of your travel certificate. No minimum expenses to keep your membership, possibility to choose a personal account and that way you don’t have to promote anything and use it simply for traveling… Everything!

Providing that the costs to

join the place where this was offered were none and that the prize was automatic, I thought that at least a 90% of people would join there for the simple pleasure of getting 80% discounted hotels simply for buying your flights!

Well, incredible as it sounds, only a 5% of the people even clicked on the link to get the full information on how to proceed. And for the ones who did, who were about 100, only one actually joined the program. Lucky guy, he’s gonna have free hotels like me! I was beginning to feel alone with my offer!

The real question is: what people is thinking about? How do we guys that try to promote an interesting place

can gain any credibility, when things are up to the point that they don’t even get what is free and will save them thousands just for filling in 4 registration lines?

That’s how it is, life is like this. And the real problem is that all this guys that have been in my web-page and haven’t realized how powerful the opportunity was are paying the price for all the people that makes false promotion on their sites. They are paying this price, and because of that, they will not enjoy offers of this kind.

And it’s not their fault at all, even if sometimes you end up thinking they must be fools to avoid taking an opportunity such the one

you are offering! But they are not at all.

As a general advice to everybody, I would ask all the online promoters to be very sincere in their web-pages. Tell the public everything. Are you part of an affiliate program? Great! Tell them that the link they are going to click guides to your affiliate web-page and you will make a little benefit every time that they make a purchase. Tell them to stay with this link, as a way to say thank you for giving the information.

In my case, every time they want to go on holidays, they can book the flights through the website I promote, get their 80% discounted hotels, and get all my help for

free in any travelings they need to make in the future, and at same time this makes me get a little commission from this flights. I’m not scared to say that. Who is?
